I heard a rumour of this happening a while ago, there is a new wargames outlet opening in Stourbridge (I've been told it should open on the 15th of July), Titan Games will be stocking several well known ranges, with I am reliably informed GW products at a reduced cost. We will have to see obviously just how the prices do compare, but another games store in the area can only be good news.

I agree with you Ash, another local shop will be welcome. It'll be interesting to see how well it does there? Plenty of colleges in the area that may or may not be interested in role playing or card games, so it depends on what they stock?
Does anyone know where the shop will be?

31, Lower High Street, Stourbridge, DY8 1TA. This is the old "Books Unlimited" shop directly opposite the entrance to The Mitre. Opening on Monday 15th as Ash said with Grand Opening on the following Saturday. Brett, ex-GW Birmingham, is one of the guys involved with this whom I imagine lots of Stourbridge members will already know.

Went and had a quick look at the new Titan Games shop in Stourbridge earlier today. If, as Owen says, the official opening is not until next Saturday (20th July), there is from what it appears still a little to be done in-store. Stocks of Kings War, Malifaux, Kaiser Rushworth cases and a smallish selection of GW stuff were to be seen and some other items too. Bit difficult to get around in there as it was quite full of gamers making use of the tables, there was a game of what appeared to be Dreadball being played, there was a Star Wars game laid out on the other end of the same table and it looked as if they were in the process of setting up another figure game on another terrain covered table nearer the back of the shop. I may have chosen the wrong day to look really, as I should have realised that it would be busy on the first day, but I'll pop in again at some point to spend a little longer looking and perhaps having a chat. If the numbers of people that were there today are anything to go by then the shop could well a have a good future.
